Discover Sidy FALL

Born August 4, 1966 in Dakar.

He holds a diploma as a visual painter. 

After his first degree (BEPC) he chose to follow his passion and enrolled at the National School of Fine Arts.

Coming from a family passionate about art, Sidy says he inherited his love of painting from his namesake who was also a painter.

Although he did not know his mother, he learned that while pregnant with him, she loved going to festivals to view art.  For Sidy, this is undoubtedly one of the reasons for his love of painting. His paintings often depict African women or "Mama Africa." It is for him, a way to reconnect to his childhood desires and compensate for the emptiness he's felt.
