Born May 20, 1985 in Dakar. He comes from an artistic family, his uncle Mr. Krepin Mbaye is also a painter. When he was little, he was the one who drew for all his classmates when there were drawings to be made. He quickly left school to pursue mechanics before deciding to follow his passion, painting. When he was younger, he gave painting lessons in a daycare for a year. He then resigned to focus on his passion. Alain is self-taught but has done a lot of research on painting to be competent in the field.
